Today we leave Cuttyhunk Island and retrace our steps to Newport, a journey of 27 miles. There is a threat of thundershowers for this afternoon. As we enter Newport harbor at 1 PM, the sprinkles begin to fall.
Cutter Loose will remain on a mooring in Newport harbor for several days while Pat returns to Pittsburgh to attend the wedding of her nephew. The timing is good, as the weather in Rhode Island is expected to remain unsettled for the next three days.
